Future Stuff


Hey everyone, it's been a while! 

We took some time off after the jam and have talked about what we could do with The Little Alchemist. We've decided on a couple of things and I thought it'd be cool to share them with you!

First of all, we're most likely going to be rebuilding The Little Alchemist from scratch and expanding it a bit! We'd like to aim for it to have the length of maybe the Ruins section of Undertale, so something that's around 30-40min. It'll still most likely be a browser game, and you can consider it both a more properly executed proof of concept, and a taste of a possible bigger game.

So, where does this leave the current game?

Well, I'm aiming to add a couple of things that didn't make the cut in the first prototype version, of which the most important would be:

  • Bindable keys;
  • Playable ending sequence;
  • A secret;
  • Other things and small adjustments...

Once we finish these things and put them all on the next update, we'll be working everything from the ground up. I'm still unsure on whether this new version of the game will be an update to this entry or if we'll make an entirely new entry, considering the differences there'll be between both versions, but this should be roughly the roadmap for now. 

ANOTHER IMPORTANT THING: since Twitter was banned in Brazil, I've been able to post things to it through my Ko-fi, but I'm not able to see either comments, likes, or respond to any of it. Please keep that in mind.

I'll most likely be using Bluesky and Ko-fi for updates and other silly posts, so if you wanna keep tabs, check my Linktree to get to any of my other socials.
